Larger senior lives out of a suitcase.

Travel has always been in my blood.
Memories of traveling on the middle seat floor board of a Ford Station wagon
are still part of my DNA.
Every summer my dad would pack us up
and drive us to the coast.
Four trucks on the top of the car
Five kids in the middle.

It was the yearly migration of Arizona families, escaping the heat.

We travel on an interstate close to the old plank road that once crossed the desert.
My mother had traveled that road,
with her four sibs,
twenty years before.
Fifty years before my grandmother was on a train from Chicago
traveling to Phoenix.

Fast forward to 2019.

I pop on a plane to see my mom every three months.
Bi monthly I head north to see grands in New York.
Weekly I travel to see my daughter's family
a bridge and lifetime away,

That does not include my semi annual trip to someplace else.

That means loads of packing,
and unpacking
and arranging.

Not being a tiny person,
to me, it is difficult to find information on packing
in a reasonable way.

Being a minimalist, this is a tough one.
So, here it is,
Senior packing.
